The Maple Leaf has terminus stations of New York City on one end and Toronto, Canada on the other. Moynihan Train Hall is a tourist attraction as well as very busy inter modal station. You will want to arrive a bit early to tour the station. It boasts a lovely Metropolitan Lounge as well as many restaurants and shops. Toronto Union Station is a major railway hub and inter modal center. There are some services available to passengers.
Penn Station – Moynihan Train Hall
You will board your Amtrak train in Moynihan Train Hall in New York. It’s a gorgeous hall with 92 ft high skylights and modern amenities. It is a world class station. You will find restaurants as well as convenience stores.
There are lots of options for hotels near this station. The closest option is the Fairfield Inn & Suites Penn Station.
Toronto Union Station
Toronto Union Station is one of the busiest public transportation structures of any kind in Canada, including air travel. It sees more than 6 million passengers annually with an average of 200,000 passengers a day. There are plenty of services available at this station and there is a first class lounge, but is only for VIA customers.
