All of the Amtrak trains in Wisconsin connect to Chicago. From Chicago you have the options of going to the west coast on the California Zephyr or the Southwest Chief. You could also connect to the east coast on the Cardinal. Chicago is the hub of the Amtrak system that connects both coasts.
For Green Bay Packers fans, Amtrak does not have a train that goes directly to Green Bay, WI. There is however a connecting bus that you can ride to Green Bay from Milwaukee. The bus to Green Bay, WI takes 3 hours and 18 minutes and costs $28. Buses depart from the intermodal station in Milwaukee and not the airport.
